These chocolate bonbons feature a silky smooth filling encased in rich vegan chocolate, making them a delightful indulgence. The recipe takes about 1 hour to prepare and chill, yielding approximately 12 bonbons.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegan chocolate chips or dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream or nut-based cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional flavorings (almond extract, raspberry puree, etc.)
  • Cocoa powder for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chocolate: Melt the vegan chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  2. Fill the Molds: Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into bonbon molds, spreading it to cover the bottom and sides. Let it set slightly.
