Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup oat flour (or all-purpose flour)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • Extra chocolate for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the oat flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until fully combined.
  4. Add Coconut and Almonds: Fold in the shredded coconut and chopped almonds into the brownie batter.
  5. Transfer to Baking Pan: Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out and cutting into squares. Drizzle with melted chocolate if desired before serving.
