I made this Vegan Chocolate Covered Raspberries for my mom’s birthday last month. The raspberries stayed tart under the shell, and my book club liked them.
Easy Vegan Chocolate-Covered Raspberries

The tart berry center of fresh raspberries is enrobed in smooth melted dark chocolate, creating a simple yet impressive dessert. This recipe is easy to make and takes about 20 minutes, plus chilling time, and serves around 4 people.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (vegan)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoothness)
- Sea salt for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Raspberries: Wash and gently dry the raspberries, ensuring they are free of moisture.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between until fully melted and smooth.
- Dip the Raspberries: Hold each raspberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Place on a Baking Sheet: Arrange the chocolate-covered raspberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
- Chill: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
