I baked this Vegan Peach Fritters for my sister’s summer party last weekend. The peaches stayed soft in the center, and my sister loved them.
Delicious Vegan Peach Fritters

These fritters are made with juicy peaches enveloped in a light batter, then fried until crispy. They are best served warm and can be sprinkled with powdered sugar for added sweetness. The recipe requires about 30 minutes to prepare and yields 6 servings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 cup non-dairy milk (almond or oat milk works well)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 ripe peaches, diced
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add the non-dairy milk and vanilla extract, stirring until just combined to form a batter.
- Fold in the Peaches: Gently fold the diced peaches into the batter until evenly mixed.
- Heat the Oil: In a deep skillet or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C).
- Fry the Fritters: Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, frying a few fritters at a time to avoid overcrowding. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Drain and Dust: Use a slotted spoon to remove the fritters and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
- Serve: Enjoy the fritters warm, perhaps with a side of fresh fruit or a drizzle of maple syrup.
